The training is open to people who wish to become certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitators, as well as to those who want to explore Holotropic Breathwork® more deeply through direct experience, study, community, and integration.

Holotropic Berlin offers Holotropic Breathwork® Training Modules as part of the international Holotropic Breathwork® Training Program.
The modules bring together senior international teachers, faculty members, and experienced facilitators who have carried, taught, and shaped this work for decades. Many have learned directly from Stanislav Grof and bring long-standing experience in Holotropic Breathwork®, Transpersonal Psychology, non-ordinary states of consciousness, process work, and integration.
Holotropic Berlin hosts the training modules in Germany together with international teams of experienced facilitators.
Who Is This Training For?
Holotropic Breathwork® Training Modules are open both to people who wish to become certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitators and to those who want to explore the holotropic approach more deeply.
This training may be of interest to:
people who have experienced Holotropic Breathwork® and want to understand the work more deeply
those interested in non-ordinary states of consciousness, Transpersonal Psychology, and inner exploration
therapists, bodyworkers, coaches, physicians, psychologists, and other professionals working with people and transformation
people involved in psychedelic integration, spiritual emergence, trauma-informed work, or contemplative practice
certified facilitators who wish to deepen their understanding or attend modules as continuing professional development
those considering the certification path and wanting to take a first step
You do not need to be enrolled in the full training program to attend a module. You can attend a module as part of the certification path, for continuing professional development, or simply as a deep educational and experiential exploration.
International Teachers & Faculty
Holotropic Berlin brings together international senior teachers, faculty members, and experienced facilitators with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise within the holotropic field.
The faculty team varies from module to module, bringing together extensive experience in Holotropic Breathwork®, Transpersonal Psychology, non-ordinary states of consciousness, group process, and integration.

The Training Path in Brief
The Holotropic Breathwork® Training Program is a flexible international training path. Participants can attend recognized modules in different countries and regions, including modules offered through Holotropic Berlin.
The training unfolds at each participant’s own pace and can be completed through recognized modules and workshops offered in different countries.
7 Training Modules
Four required modules and three elective modules.
Required Modules
- The Power Within: The Practice of Holotropic Breathwork®
- Music and Transcendence
- The Holotropic Paradigm: The Psyche, the Inner Healer and Moving Toward Wholeness
- Spiritual Emergency: Embracing Unexpected Transformation
The three elective modules can be chosen individually according to each participant’s interests.
10 Holotropic Breathwork® Workshops
Participation in at least 10 workshops with certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitators, with experience in both the breather and sitter roles.
10 Hours of Individual Consultation
With certified Holotropic Breathwork® practitioners.
Ethics Requirement
Completion of the required ethics component.
Preparation of Your Own Music Set
Apprenticeship
A minimum of four apprenticeship experiences for participants pursuing the Practitioner Track.
Closing Certification Intensive
The final stage of the certification path.
